Con motivo de la semana del arte, presentamos “Sin título, 2025“. Una exhibición grupal curada con obra nueva de artistas representados y algunxs invitadxs que han estado en nuestro radar; algo parecido a una reunión de amigos en casa. Las obras presentadas exploran temas recurrentes y característicos de nuestro programa, como la identidad, las narrativas personales, el cuerpo y sus límites, el humor, las relaciones interpersonales y el futuro. En ellas podemos encontrar el resabio de habitar o visitar la Ciudad de México, sea en su materialidad, en las imágenes que ponen en juego o en los motivos ornamentales representados, una ciudad que siempre está en tensión con la ruralidad que la atraviesa.

On the occasion of Art Week, we are pleased to present “Untitled, 2025“, a group exhibition curated with new works by represented artists and a few new ones who have been on our radar—something that resembles a gathering of friends at home. The featured works explore recurring themes characteristic of our program, such as identity, personal narratives, the body and its boundaries, humor, interpersonal relationships, and the future. They reflect the experience of inhabiting or visiting Mexico City, whether through their materiality, the imagery they employ, or the motifs they contain—a city always in tension with the rurality that cuts across it.

Deseábamos hacer una exposición que no necesitase más razón curatorial, que la emoción que nos producen las obras que ponen en juego y exponen una cierta clandestinidad de la vida privada. Una exposición que nos permitiese pensar y experimentar las alegrías de nuestros encuentros, nuestras simpatías e inclinaciones. Así que decidimos que nuestro eje iba a ser algo aparentemente simple y ligero, pero que nos atraviesa intensamente; la amistad y el amor, como motores que nos ponen a desear y hacer cosas con y para otrxs, pero sin restarle ni un ápice del chisme y la zozobra que también nos brindan. Esta exposición es también una correspondencia entre amigas, una epístola que da cuenta de la telaraña de relaciones afectivas que sostienen nuestras sobrevivencias. Se trata de obras que han sido realizadas en colaboración por artistxs que se aman, obras con dedicatorias a seres amadxs o que versan sobre el amor y la amistad en el sentido amplio. Nos interesan las vibraciones, los abrazos, las aperturas que estas obras gestan en el momento en que se llevan a cabo o exhiben, los nuevos lazos que instauran.

We wanted to put together an exhibition that didn’t need any other curatorial rationale, than the sheer emotion evoked by works that bring to life and display a certain secrecy related to private life. An exhibition that allows us to think and experience the joys of our encounters, our sympathies, preferences and inclinations. So, we decided that our central theme would be something seemingly simple and light but which deeply affects us; and that is friendship and love, forces that drive us to desire and do things with and for others, without leaving out a single drop of all the gossip and anxiety they also bring us. This exhibition is also a correspondence among friends, a letter that captures the rhizomatic web of emotional relationships that sustain our survivals. It consists of works created in collaboration by artists who love each other, works dedicated to loved ones, or that revolve around love and friendship in a broad sense. We are interested in the vibrations, the embraces, the openings that these works generate at the moment they are created or displayed, the new bonds they establish.
